The yellow rings have similar powers to their green counterparts using the ring, the wearer can create constructs of yellow light as well as project energy blasts and force fields. Chosen by the yellow rings, they joined Sinestro and became connected to the yellow central power battery on Qward. Using these rings, Sinestro established the Sinestro Corps, an organization of beings capable of instilling great fear in others. There, he met the Weaponers of Qward and convinced them to develop the yellow power ring, a weapon fueled by the power of fear and specifically designed to take advantage of the Green Lanterns' weakness of yellow energy. When the Green Lantern Corps banished Sinestro after they discovered he was using his ring to control his homeworld, he went to the planet Qward in the Antimatter Universe. Out of all of these, which one is the most powerful? Look below to find out! The Red Lantern Corps may be incredibly powerful, but you're stuck spewing blood out of your mouth for as long as you live. Meanwhile, the Sinestro Corps are all about striking fear into the hearts of others. A Green Lantern may be a great jack-of-all-trades, but they lack the ability to emotionally bolster those around them. While there are certain common powers between them, the emotion that they embody greatly affects the abilities of the wielder. Not all power rings, however, are the same. Lantern Corps bestow massive powers onto their members, giving them the ability to create light constructs, fly in the vacuum of space, and generally be awesome. They all have their own agendas, powers, and emotions that they draw from. Several other ring-wielding organizations are either policing the DC universe or seeking to destroy it somehow. But for a while now, they haven't been the only game in town. Click here for more on the new Legion of Doom and the key role they play in this relaunched series. We can all agree that the Green Lantern Corps are awesome. The brainwashed John Stewart returns to Earth and attacks the Justice League, even as he speaks the oath of the Ultraviolet Lanterns: By shield of day and shield of night We feed and grow, beyond all sight Your darkest self shall be our knight We wield the sword of unseen light For those keeping score, this now marks the fifth Lantern Corps of which Sinestro has been a member, including the Green Lanterns, Sinestro Corps, White Lanterns and Indigo Lanterns. (DC Entertainment)As this issue shows, one of Sienstro's new powers is the ability to enslave others and make them members of his new Corps. This Corps apparently draws on the power of unseen emotions and a person's own inner darkness. Not only is the villain back in his classic blue and black uniform, he's become a member of the Ultraviolet Lanterns. Sinestro resurfaces in this issue as he attacks Green Lantern John Stewart. In the case of Sinestro, that involves harnessing an entirely new type of Lantern ring. To do so, he's helping his new allies reach new heights of power to better oppose their enemies. Even as the Justice League has been expanding in the aftermath of Dark Nights: Metal, Lex Luthor has been intent on establishing the Legion of Doom as the chaos to the League's order.
